Scott Bowman
A Convoy, OH, local and Crestview graduate, Avery is the heavy lifter of New Visions Carpentry. During a short break from Convoy and Ohio in general, he built a background in construction and firefighting. This provided a unique opportunity to see builds at various stages, be that a fresh build starting to burn down or a building that has outlasted generations, and of varying types from commercial to residential. In addition to the creation of New Visions Carpentry, Avery and his spouse brought their first child to bear. As a result, Avery has cultivated a mindset of safety and longevity for anything New Visions Carpentry attaches their name to. In his own words, "Do it right the first time or don't do it at all."
Also a Convoy, OH, local and Crestview graduate, Scott has built a background in management and team building. While Avery was fighting fires and learning how to build, Scott was busy in the trucking industry, learning how to generate a healthy environment for his team as well as managing a department in the food-grade industry. Being exclusively responsible for upholding certifications and the general cleanliness of transportation equipment, as well as exposure for him and his team to confined spaces, commercial-grade chemicals, and high-temperature conditions regularly, has put safety and team wellness above all else in his mind. That carries into the company as a whole; customer and employee safety is number one.
